About Ligaya

I am Ligaya Solera. (That much, I guess, is obvious from the URL.)

According to my mother, I’ve been reading and writing since I was 2 or 3 years old. I collected notebooks when I was in grade school, hoping to fill them with my own fiction, but that day job didn’t work out.  I do have an anything-goes blog, entitled “An Adventure Called Life,” which I maintain at ligayasolera[dot]blogspot[dot]com.

As for reading, I first fell in love with Nancy Drew mysteries. I’ve since moved on to children’s stories, hehe! That is, I’ve since discovered Narnia and Middle Earth and Baker Street and the world of horseracing and a fat Roman Catholic priest called Father Brown. These latter have more to do with this blog than Nancy Drew, but that perpetually 18-year-old strawberry blonde with a genius for detection will always hold a special place in my heart for having started my love affair with the written word.
